Nurture and Nature in the Community
St. Jude Children's Hospital Trikeathon
Every year, Nurture and Nature ECEC sponsors a Trike-a-thon in support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Nurture And Nature families have raised a total of $36,256 for the children of St. Jude. We learn about bike safety and about the value of helping other children gain access to treatment and medication. Our students love bringing their bikes to shool and parents really enjoy attending this event. Thank you N&N FAMILIES for supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Make-A-Wish Foundation
We feel it is essential for our children to learn gratitude and to express empathy for others. The N&N children, staff and families held a Movie Night to raise money for children receiving wishes from Make-A-Wish Foundation. The children learn in a concrete way how giving to others has incredible intrinsic value.
N&N T-Ball Team
For the last five years, Nurture And Nature has sponsored a T-ball Team for the city of Millbrae. We feel it is important to support the positive outreach activities in our local community and to send an important message that exercise and camaraderie is FUN! Thank you to the Millbrae Lions Club for giving us this opportunity!
Millbrae Education Foundation (MEF)
Every year, Nurture and Nature donates to the Millbrae Education Foundation to support local schools. We believe in contributing to a strong continuum of education from the Early Childhood years and beyond. For more information or to donate, please visit millbraekids.org.
