Children must be toilet-trained and 3 years old by September 1st of the enrollment year.

Our school year starts in the beginning of August and finishes at the end of June. Nurture And Nature is closed the month of July.

 

Process

• Step 1.  The family contacts Nurture And Nature starting September 15, 2023 to set up an in person tour with your child. Masks are optional.   Tours generally last about 30 minutes. We do not give tours for children who will not start school the following fall.  In conjunction with the tour, the family receives a Nurture And Nature Application Packet, the Parent Handbook, and any other program information and state-required forms.
   

• Step 2.  If the family is interested in applying for a spot, the family completes the application packet and submits the completed packet by February 1st for August Enrollment.  Application packets will not be accepted after this date.
   

• Step 3. The applications are reviewed and families are notified of enrollment status by the beginning of March.  If your child is accepted, the $100 registration fee is then due and is your confirmation to hold that enrollment spot.  If your child is not accepted for enrollment, he or she is placed on a waiting list in the event that a spot becomes available.  If no spot becomes available,  the process can be repeated for the following school year.

Waitlists are not carried over to the following school year.  Enrollment is based upon the following factors: returning students, a completed application packet turned in on time, siblings of current students, siblings of alumni, schedules and at the discretion of Nurture And Nature staff.
