Enrollment

Children must be toilet-trained and 3 years old by August 1st of the enrollment year.

Our school year starts in the beginning of August and finishes at the end of June. Nurture And Nature is closed the month of July.

The Process

• Step 1.  The family contacts Nurture And Nature to set up a tour in the fall – ONE YEAR PRIOR TO ACTUAL ENROLLMENT. Tours are given at 10:45 a.m. and the child is asked to attend the tour with the family.  Tours generally last about 30 minutes. We do not give tours for children who will not start school the following fall.  During the tour, the family receives a Nurture And Nature Application Packet, the Parent Handbook, other program information and state-required forms.
• Step 2.  If the family is interested in applying for a spot, the family completes the application packet and submits the completed packet from February 1st - February 17th for August Enrollment.  Application packets will not be accepted after this date.
• Step 3. The applications are reviewed in February, and families are notified of enrollment status in early March.  If your child is accepted, the $100 Registration Fee is due by March 31st.  If your child is not accepted for enrollment, he or she is placed on a waiting list in the event that a spot becomes available.  If no spot becomes available,  the process can be repeated for the following school year.
